For over 120 years, the members of Independent Volunteer Fire Company have served the Hammonton community with pride and dedication. We are an all-volunteer organization that relies on your continued support to supplement necessary resources. ur dedicated men and women are ready to respond to your emergencies:

• 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year

• All times of the day and night

• In all types of weather

​

They leave their jobs and their families at a moment’s notice, ready to place their lives in harm’s way to protect your lives and property.  Tens of thousands of man hours each year are placed into:

​

• Responses to your emergencies

• Training and drills

• Developing prevention and education programs

• Participating in community events

​

This type of dedication and commitment is tough to come by, yet it is one of the reasons that the Town of Hammonton is great place to live and work. These firefighters are your neighbors and co-workers.

 

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Independent Volunteer Fire Company.  We need your support to be able to continue to fulfill our mission of providing the best services in fire protection, rescue, and fire prevention and education to the citizens of our town. Donations made will:

• Assist the fire companies with operating costs

• Help with maintenance of the firehouses

• Assure all equipment and members ready to respond at all times

We welcome you, the public to visit our firehouse and see our building, the enhancements we have made over the years thanks to your support and meet the dedicated members of Fire Co. 2.

You can see what being a volunteer is all about Wednesday nights at 7pm at the Fire Company 2 Fire House. We are located at 51 N. White Horse Pike.
